Back in 1920, Bernard Moster, the company’s founder, stated “We will only produce goods in the best quality” and since then we have been producing high-quality products and providing first-class service in the paint and varnish industry. Today, Chromos paints and varnishes<\/strong> covers a 100,000 m2<\/sup> production facility in the capital city of Zagreb with an annual production of 15,000 tons. Each of our company’s 150 employees strives every day towards a common goal: to ensure the success of our customers by applying top-quality products and systems from our product range.<\/p>\n

The Chromos paints and varnishes company has gone through numerous changes throughout its history. During World War II, it operated under the name Perunika, and in 1950 it joined the Chromos-Katran-Kutrilin combine, where it remained until the 1990s, when it regained its independence. Dedicated and high-quality work over many years has brought results, and since 2001, Chromos paints and varnishes has become an integral part of the HELIOS Group, and consequently, since 2017, a part of the Japanese KANSAI PAINT Group, which is one of the world leaders in the coatings industry. The new market position has enabled access to global trends and global knowledge transfer in the field of research and development. Even in these challenging times, Chromos manages to maintain steady growth by combining global trends and best practices with local excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>
