Floor Expert EP 101
Two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin-based primer. Used as a primer on concrete floors and cement screeds of moderate to high absorbency and as a binder for epoxy mortars with quartz sand.
Characteristics:
- Penetrates deeply into the substrate
- Blocks moisture in the substrate up to a value of 4%
- High adhesion strength to the substrate

It is also used as a binder for epoxy mortars with quartz sand:
- Epoxy mortar up to 1 mm thick
- 1.35 kg/m2 of mortar for a layer thickness of 1 mm
- Mortar composition: 0.9 kg of EP 101 mixture (A+B) + 0.45 kg FE quartz – quartz sand
- Epoxy mortar up to 2 mm thick
- 1.6 kg/m2 of mortar for a layer thickness of 1 mm
- Mortar composition: 0.8 kg of EP 101 mixture (A+B) + 0.8 kg of FE quartz – quartz sand
- Leveling compound 15–20 mm thick
- 2.4 kg/m2 of mass for a layer thickness of 1 mm
- Mortar composition: Floor expert EP 101: Floor expert quartz mix = 1:10
System:
Used in systems with EP and PU topcoats.
Instructions for use:
- Apply as a primer with a short-haired roller, brush or rubber trowel.
- The coating must completely cover the substrate. If necessary, apply two coats.
- Mortar for leveling rough surfaces is applied with a rubber trowel or notched trowel, depending on the thickness.
